Corrections log
One wrong number is one too many. When we get one wrong, we fix it and list it here, newest first.
No corrections yet.
When we get a number wrong, it will be listed here.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] with the page, the figure you think is wrong, and the source you are comparing it to. Most mismatches turn out to be a different date or a different series, and the source lets us check quickly.
What every entry shows
- The date we fixed it
- Where it appeared
- The wrong figure and the corrected figure
- The source, and what went wrong
Routine updates, such as a new week of EIA prices replacing the last one, are not corrections and don’t appear here. Revisions that a source makes to its own published numbers are noted when we pick them up.
